AlphaPro is the programming tool for the AlphaCom exchange. AlphaPro gives the facility to program the features of the exchange off-line, and at a later stage upload this programming into the exchange. AlphaPro does not extend the features of the exchange, it fills in the appropriate tables.

The latest version is available on the download page.

AlphaPro is actually two software programs, one FoxPro database application (the big, central window) and one C-code communication program called WACS (the small window on top).

AlphaPro Versions

AlphaPro version 11.x comes in two version. A hardware dongle is used to differentiate between the different versions:

  • AlphaPro M

Runs without a hardware key. It gives access to all features (except AlphaNet configuration), but only for 36 subscribers.

  • AlphaPro Professional

Uses the Professional hardware key. It gives access to all features. This version must be used when extensive changes to the default Auto-load should be made. For example coniguring physical number above 36 or configuring AlphaNet.

The earlier AlphaPro 10 came in three versions. A hardware dongle is used to differentiate between the different versions. There are two types of hardware keys, one for parallel port and one for USB port. The versions of AlphaPro are:

  • AlphaPro M

Runs without a hardware key. It gives access to all features (except AlphaNet configuration), but only for 36 subscribers.

  • AlphaPro Lite

Uses the Lite hardware key. It gives access to a limited range of features for all subscribers and is intended for customer system maintenance.

NOTE: Since 30.07.2009 the AlphaPro Lite hardware key is phased out
  • AlphaPro Professional

Uses the Professional hardware key. It gives access to all features. This version must be used when extensive changes to the default Auto-load should be made.

NOTE: Since AlphaPro version 11.5.x.x there is no support for serial communication which is needed to configure AMC9.
For AMC9 and mixed networks AlphaPro 11.2.x.x must be used!
