Release info

Name: VSF-INCA
Description: VSF-INCA is a firmware archive for all INCA based Intercom stations including devices: IP Desktop Master Station, IP Substation, IP Vandal Resistant Station, IPARIO and IP Dual Display Station.
The firmware is delivered in two different ZIP archives:

  • A100G80200.02_08_X_X - Used for standard INCA IP Intercom devices
  • A100G802D0.02_08_X_X - Used for IP Dual Display Station

VSIS-431 SNMP Informs support added

IP stations now support using SNMP Informs for integration with network management systems.

VSIS-693 Ringlist expanded to 30 entries with individual timeout option

It is now possible to use up to 30 ringlist entries and add a timeout using special option. Example configuration for ringing timer of 20 seconds: 100;ringing_timer=20

VSIS-698 Advanced network settings enabled in Pulse mode

Enabled Advanced network settings (802.1x, SNMP, Firewall) on the StationWeb and VS-IMT, for IP stations in Pulse mode.

VSIS-757 Ringing tone volume increase and frequency (tone) customization

The volume of the tones have been increased for tone volume 1-4, in addition the frequency and some other parameters are now configurable.

VSIS-1174 Mass configuration of 802.1x settings from VS-IMT

Added functionality in the VS-IMT to handle 802.1x network security settings for multiple stations at once. Both settings and security certificates (PKI) can be handled for many stations at once.

VSIS-1175 Mass configuration of INCA VLAN settings from VS-IMT

Added functionality in the VS-IMT to handle VLAN network settings for multiple INCA stations at once.

MTN-1290 INCA Off-hook tone if digit pressed during tone test

If any digit is pressed or conversation open, it will be mixed with the off-hook tone.

MTN-113 Pulse Group call without M-key

It is now possible to make a group call in Open mode, without need to press M-key to speak

MTN-757 Inca station reboots on call transfer to an non-existing CUCM extension

When attempting call transfer to an extension the CUCM can not find or is not allowed to transfer to, the Inca station reboots.

MTN-852 Option to play ringing audio file once followed with normal tone

It is now possible to play the wav file on once, then continue playing the normal tone signal

MTN-947 The call LED was not flashing during ringing

The call LED will now flash during ringing, unless this functionality has been disabled

MTN-1048 Send text action does not display text on INCA display

When using control input on Turbine in call to send text, text is not displayed on INCA display. It is shown in INCA log as received.

MTN-1094 The webcall page was very slow to load in some versions after 2.5.3.2

The webcall page should now load immediately

MTN-1097 Disabling Tone Volume (-1 option) does not work

Disable tone volume will now work.

MTN-1105 The "Ringing Audio file" is mixed with the standard ringing tone

This is fixed and only the WAV file is played

MTN-1244 Adjustment of microphone volume in IP flush handset not possible

It is now possible to adjust the handset microphone sensitivity separate from normal microphone

VSIS-704 Group call should use caller codec

Only the g722 codec was supported before, so now the call codec is taken from caller

VSIS-1162 Disable Call functions on DAKs when Idle function does not support it

Certain Idle functions do not allow Call function to be set on DAK. For those functions, Call functions are now disabled in station web.

Security fixes and improvements 2.7.2.4 (LA)

VSIS-840 Security issue: SSL Certificate Weak Public Key Strength on Turbine/INCA

Security scanner detected that SSL certificates are using weak public key strength. Key length has been increased to 2048.

VSIS-841 Security issue: SSL Weak Protocol Version Supported on Turbine/INCA

Security scanner detected support for old versions of SSL. These are now disabled.

VSIS-842 Security issue: SSLv3 Fallback Vulnerability (POODLE) on Turbine/INCA

Security scanner detected SSLv3 Fallback Vulnerability (POODLE). This is now fixed.

Known Issues 2.7.3.0 (GA)

MTN-268 Relay follow M-key cannot handle quick M

Relay configured to follow M-key does not handle quick press on M-key

MTN-392 Using DAK as C key makes the IP DualDisplay unresponsive for up to 15 seconds

In the testing two DAK keys was configured in AlphaPro as "C" and "CTOFF". If DAK1 is pressed during idle the station does no respond to key-press or incoming call for about 3 seconds. Calling the station will result in a Camp On Busy. Pressing DAK2 causes the station to not respond for up to 15 seconds.

MTN-394 INCA Station does not receive group call audio while speaking into a Simplex Conference

INCA IP Station does not receive group call audio while speaking (M-key pressed) into a Simplex Conference, or if it is a Default Speaker of a SX conference.

MTN-408 802.1X config not properly handling special characters in password

Character like % is not handled in the password input field for 802.1x.

MTN-482 Transfer function doesn't work with Cisco CCM

When the station is used in SIP mode, connected to a Cisco Call manager (version: 9.1.1.21020-1) the permanent call transfer function does not work. When calling the station, we hear a Cisco Call manager message saying that this number is unreachable. In the Cisco station settings the transfer is not activated.

MTN-598 INCA station fails to register if Hebrew name is too long

More than 12 characters entered causes registration problems

MTN-702 Handset volume cannot be adjusted in Desktop Video Station

The handset volume is not adjusted when using the volume keys on the station, even though it correctly shows the volume bar going up/down in the display. Adjusting handset volume from the StationWeb is OK

MTN-817 IP Video Desktop does not indicate private/open mode

There is no user feedback when changing between open/private mode with C-key, and no indication of what mode the station is currently in.

MTN-883 IP Flush (Pulse) shows error 484 when dialing and pressing C

When start to dial a number and then hit C, error message 484 is shown on the display. The fault appears in Pulse server mode and Pulse client mode.

MTN-948 Hebrew not displayed correctly in Video Desk display

When an AlphaCom system is set to Hebrew language the display in the Video Desk station is not showing Hebrew characters. If station name is written in Latin letters, only 5 or 6 characters are shown. Display is in correct reverse though (right to left).

MTN-970 LCD screen on IP Video Desktop will dim regardless of settings

The LCD screen on the IP Video Desktop appears to dim, even though the two settings "Time until Activation" and "Time Until Shutdown" under Screensaver category is set to off and never.

MTN-1052 PTT does not work between Gateway and INCA station

Make a call between Inca and Gateway. Pressing * and # on mobile phone configured on Gateway does not effect conversation direction on INCA. If call is made between Turbine and Gateway, PTT works as expected.
