Feature: Event During Connection
Default directory number: None
Feature number: 108
Parameter 1: 0-255 = Subevent for Event Trigger Feature 15
Description: This feature makes it possible to trigger events by pressing digits during conversation. The feature is only available during connection. When the feature is activated an Event Trigger Feature 15 is sent to the Event Handler

Event handler relations:

  • Owner: Own station (station dialing feature 108)
  • Related to: The other station in the conversation
  • Subevent: Same as "Parameter 1" of the "Event During Connection" feature configured in the Directory Table

Examples:

  • Directory number 1, feature 108/1: When digit 1 is pressed during conversation, Event Trigger 15 is triggered with Subevent = 1. Event owner = A-subscriber, Related To = B-subscriber.
  • Directory number 1, feature 107/5: When digit 1 is pressed during conversation, DTMF digit 5 is transmitted (default for 3,5 seconds)
  • Directory number 1, feature 107/255: Dial digit 1 during conversation to enter "DTMF transmission mode". Audio from the conversation is now switched off. Successive digits will be sent as DTMF digits. E.g. 1 + 345 will send DTMF 3, then 4, then 5. The DTMF tone is transmitted as long as the digit is pressed. Press C-key to leave the "DTMF transmission mode" and return back to conversation mode.

Note that the conversation audio is switched off during DTMF tone transmission.
