  1. After the Pulse Server has been configured, connect the rest of the IP intercom stations to the network.
  2. Wait for the stations to boot up (approximately 60 seconds) before proceeding to the next step.
  3. Log on to the Pulse Server station using its new IP address.
  4. Select Server Management > Server Configuration > Directory Settings. You should now see a list of all stations on the network.
  5. To identify the individual stations, click Play. You will now hear a tone in the loudspeaker of the station you selected.
  6. Enter Directory number, Name and IP address for all the stations. You can choose to use a static IP address or to obtain IP address from a DHCP server.
  7. Click Save to push the new settings to all stations, and Apply to do a required system reboot.
Configure the Server Directory

Assuming that there is already a Pulse Server on the ntwork, these are the steps:

  • Connect the IP Station to the network. Station are by default set to operate in Pulse Mode. If not sure, you can do a factory default of the station
  • When the station has started up, the Pulse Server will automatically discover the station.
  • Log on to the Pulse Server, and go to the Directory list. (.

Discovered stations are automatically shown in the stations list. Stations that are configured with some other server will be automatically deselected in the list. Only stations which are selected (checkbox enabled) will receive configured settings, and only those will be saved to Pulse server directory: if we deselect a previously configured station it will be removed from Pulse server directory.

Save will push the configuration to selected stations.

Apply will reboot the selected stations

When an IP intercom station is to be used in a Pulse system, the only setting required is that the station is in "Pulse mode". "Pulse mode" is the default mode. If not sure, resetting the station to Factory Defaults will set it to this mode.

When the station is connected to the same network as the Pulse Server station, the station will automatically be discovered by the Pulse Server, and further configuration (including IP settings) are done on the Pulse Server, which will push the settings to the station.
