Running AlphaPro on Windows 7 (32/64 bit)

AlphaPro (all versions) is not Windows Vista/7 Compatible. It is possible to run it on Windows Vista, but Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit) versions are problematic. Microsoft have released a tool that allows older software to run on Windows 7 in "XP Mode". This is a Virtual PC (running Windows XP) where software can be installed and run as if it is on an XP machine.

The "XP Mode" tool can be downloaded for free from Micorsoft's website: [1]


NOTE 1: To get the Sentinel SuperPro Dongle to work, the XP Mode virtual machine have to be configured to use USB devices. NOTE 2: The XP Mode tool is only avaliable for Windows 7 Professional (Enterprise) versions.
