Edge Controller

One of the intercom devices in an IC-EDGE system must be set as the Edge Controller. The Edge Controller is acting as a server for the other intercom stations in the system. There can be only one Edge Controller in the installation.

The Edge Controller must have firmware version 5.0.3.0 or higher |
All native Zenitel IP devices can be used as an Edge Controller, with the following exceptions:
- The 1st generation of Zenitel IP devices based on the INCA chipset cannot be used as an Edge Controller. See INCA Stations
- The ITSV-x video phones cannot be used as an Edge Controller.
- The 1st generation Turbine Video intercoms (TCIV-x) cab be used as Edge Controller, but with a maximum of 5 stations/devices
