Bypass Mode allows audio from the line input on an ENA amplifier to be routed to the loudspeaker channel outputs.
Bypass Mode is configured in Amplifier Settings > Line Control.
In Analog Route Line In to ch1 choose one of the following configuration options:
- Always Off: Bypass is disabled
- No IP Audio/Reg: Line In audio will be sent to the loudspeakers if no sound is being played from IP network, or there is no server connection or the amplifier is not registered to a server.
- Not Registered: Line In audio will be sent to the loudspeakers if there is no server connection or the amplifier is not registered to a server.
- Always On: The amplifier will always route audio directly from line in to the loudspeaker channels.
For older ENA2x00 models: Enabling Bypass Mode on one loudspeaker channel will automatically force Bypass Mode on the other channel as well. When Bypass is enabled, a red BYP label is shown in the GUI of the amplifier. |
For older ENA2x00 models:
- In the Line In section, select the "Line In Type" = Line Input, and set a proper impedance for your audio source – options are 600 Ohms or High impedance.
Master Volume is ignored in Bypass Mode. Input level can be adjusted by the Line In > Gain (0 to 47dB) setting. There is also an Analog Routing Gain (only in ENA2200/ENA2400 models) which can be set on each channel to do minor adjustments for different zones. This control has a range from -6 to 0 dB, and can only be set from the web interface.
