When the handset is lifted on a station the system can be programmed to dial a certain number. When the handset is replaced, another number can be dialed. The feature is available on all stations with handset and is programmable per station.

Application examples:

  • Lifting the handset activates an alarm call from a lift. Whether the handset is replaced or not does not matter, the confirmation message and the return call will come through anyway.
  • Lifting the handset activates a Call Request to a service center. The caller is supposed to wait for an answer with the handset off. If the handset is replaced, the Call Request is removed from the queue.
