The range of MPS microphones can be connected in two different ways. The analogue way directly to a Vipedia or through IP via a network to the Vipedia. This article shows the hardware changes to made to switch between these options.
No other changes need to made except choosing the right microphone in the SCT.
Jumper links
There are three jumper links to change. The position RTR is for analogue operation and the PoE position is for Ethernet connection (PoE powered). The below pictures show the two settings, click the image for enlargement.

Connection
In analogue operation the connections Router 1, Router 2 and Router Mic Aux. Port can be used, depending on redundancy. In IP operation only the Ethernet port is used.
