===Features===

* Output for 1 amplified loudspeaker

* Output level control.

===Description===

The board contains a power amplifier, a potentiometer for adjusting the output volume and an input for switching the amplifier on/off.

The symetrical input is matched to the output level on the subscriber board in the AlphaCom exchange.

==Highlights==

The amplifier may be constantly on, or switched on and off by the M-key on the calling station. It is recommended that power to the amplifier board is supplied from a separate class II transformer. <br\> In the AlphaCom exchange, brackets must be mounted on the board, in order to fasten to the mounting rail.

The amplifier can also be used with IP stations, connecting the line output of the IP station to the input of amplifier. Note that when used with IP stations the output power will be less than specified in the table below, because the input of the amplifier is designed for ASLT line levels (2.2 volt nominal, max 8 volts) and the line level from the IP stations is 0dBm signal (approx. 0.77 volts).

WK20- 20 watt amplifier

Highlights

  • Designed to amplify the audio of an ASLT subscriber line
  • Can be used standalone (speaker only), or in combination with a station to amplify the speaker signal
  • Connects directly to the ASLT subscriber line
  • Provides 20 Watt into 4 Ohm, 12 Watt into 8 Ohm, or 6 Watt into 20 Ohm
  • Powered by 24VAC transformer or 24-36VDC power supply

Connectors and switches on Power Amplifier

Note icon There is no polarity requirement on the power input when using either 24vAC or 24-36vDC. A diode bridge provides for connection of supply in either polarity.

WK20 and IP Stations

The amplifier can also be used with IP stations, connecting the line output of the IP station to the input of amplifier. Note that when used with IP stations the output power will be less than specified in the table below, because the input of the amplifier is designed for ASLT line levels (2.2 volt nominal, max 8 volts) and the line level from the IP stations is 0dBm signal (approx. 0.77 volts).
