The Answer Timeout setting determines how long a call should be ringing before it automatically terminates. This is a global timer that effects all calls in the system.

The timeout is set in seconds. Default value is 30 seconds. The time can be changed in Devices and Connections > Global Parameters.

  • Ringing time of a direct call in private mode; if the call is not answered within this time, Zenitel Connect Pro automatically closes the call attempt
  • Ringing time of a 'Camp on busy' call; if the call is not answered within this time, Zenitel Connect Pro automatically closes the call attempt
