The Answer Timeout setting determines how long a call should be ringing before it automatically terminates. This is a global timer that effects all calls in the system.
The timeout is set in seconds. Default value is 30 seconds. The time can be changed in Devices and Connections > Global Parameters.
The timer affects:
- Direct calls in Private Ringing mode: The call is terminated if it is not answered within this time.
- “Camp on busy” calls: The call is terminated if it is not answered within this time.
- Call Forwarding on No Reply: The call is forwarded if it is not answered within this time.
