Call Priority (Zenitel Connect Pro)
From Zenitel Wiki
Priority levels range from 1 to 250, with 1 being the highest priority.
The priorities are divided into 4 categories:
- Alarm: 1-20
- High: 21-40
- Normal: 41-100
- Low: 101-250
The default priority level is 70 for basic calls. Calls from a device are handled depending on the call setup priority (the priority of the call is set by the caller):
An Alarm priority call will be connected immediately, unless the receiving station is in a call with a higher setup priority.
An High priority call will be connected in Open (Auto-answer) mode if the receiving station is not in a call, even if the station is receiving a call annunciation from a lower call setup priority station.
A normal call will be annunciated depending on the setting of the receiving station (Open/Private - Auto-answer Yes/No). If the receiving station is in Private and there are several devices trying to call, the highest priority call 'wins'.
A Low priority call will always be annunciated by private ringing. If there are several non-urgent calls, the call with the highest priority 'wins'.
Default priority can be changed per device from the device configuration “Call Priority” field (default hidden, can be shown with “show column” option.
