Billing Installation Guide

This AlphaCom feature is under development and is not yet released!

If you are running on the new file system (AMC Board Support Package Version 10.00), then you can just upgrade with the billing package 1.00 (alpha_billing_01_00.tbz2).
To install a new file system on the Alphacom, follow the instructions below:

1. Upgrade the AMC to 10.52. In order to upgrade to AMC10.52, AMC10.51 must be installed first.

1. Install "Alphacom Image Upgrade" application on your computer (Requires .NET Framework 3.0)

2. Copy the image file "alpha_uimage_20_billing.bin" (or desired image) to the "ServerRoot" catalogue selected while installing the program (default: C:\Program Files\STENTOFON\AlphaImageUpgrade\ServerRoot)

3. Install the new image file according to the Flash Image Upgrade Procedure

3. Install the Alphasyspackage "alpha_sys_10_52.tbz2" (In order to install this package, alpha_sys_10_51.tbz2 should be already installed)

4. If it exist newer Billing package version you want to install, do it before configuring the billing system. (alpha_billing_01_10.tbz2 is the latest release by 01.03.2009)

5. Insert a license key with desired SIP Trunk Lines

6. Enable the Billing Node Exchange under "NET Routing/AlphaNet Routing/General Settings/Billing Node"

7. Send Changes and reset in the AlphaPro to update database configuration in the Billing Web interface.
