Introduction

The ST2000 Security Management System from Habtech integrates with ICX-AlphaCom. This integration uses the VS-SDK for AlphaCom connecting with the AlphaNet via TCP.

The integration allows for intercom events such as, call requests, placing a call, ending a call to be done from the ST2000 Security Management System.

Events raised and commands issued give ST2000 the ability to

  • Monitor and process events raised i.e., call request.
  • Send commands to the server i.e., place a call.
  • Jump to priority to the location on the user interface of an incoming call request.
  • Connect a CCTV client(monitor) to call up the respective intercom location.
  • Monitor the states of all intercom stations and indicate if a station is malfunctioning.

Licensing

Habtech

Please contact Habtech for license details for the ST2000 software, controllers and integration licenses.

ICX-AlphaCom

ICX-AlphaCom requires the presence of the appropriate API/OPC license:

  • 1002602306 - ILI-API64 - API License Supporting 64 Intercom Stations
  • 1002602309 - ILI-API512 - API License Supporting 512 Intercom Stations

With ICX-AlphaCom it is possible to purchase a single Product Key which covers all stations connected to all ICX-AlphaCom's in a network. Licenses can be stacked, i.e. 1x 1002602306 + 2x 1002602309 gives 1088 API licenses which can be used on 2 or more ICX-AlphaCom's.

Note that the licenses are based on the number of intercom stations, not the number of gateways and servers. Thus, 1 API license can be used across multiple networked ICX-AlphaCom gateways.

ICX-AlphaCom Configuration

Enable a direct TCP connection on port 61112 or 61113 to communicate with ICX-AlphaCom.

Once connected to the server:

  • All available nodes are discovered in the server.
  • All intercom stations are discovered in each node.

Use AlphaPro to make sure all stations have the CCoIP enabled to make sure that ICX-AlphaCom does not assume they are analogue which is not supported.

Stations without the flag set will not be synchronized into the stations DB of the SDK and will not be able to monitor the state of the stations.
