Advancis WinGuard

General

WinGuard is the PSIM software from Advancis. Integration between WinGuard and AlphaCom is via the ACDP protocol (AlphaCom Data Protocol), using the link type Simple Link Layer. The following paragraphs give a short setup guide of the system, for more details please contact Advancis directly.

Serial Port settings for WinGuard

AlphaPro

Configure the ACDP port to be used towards WinGuard.

From the AlphaPro main menu, select Exchange & System > Serial Ports, and select one of the available ACDP links and program as follows:

• Port Type: TCP/IP server
• Link Type: Stentofon Simple Link Layer
• Broadcast: Enabled
• Port: Enter a TCP/IP port nr on which WinGuard and AlphaCom will communicate, default for WinGuard is 4001
• Keep Alive: Enabled

AlphaWeb

From the web interface of the AlphaCom (AlphaWeb), make certain that the TCP/IP port as selected above is defined and enabled in the Filter-page.
