Changes are not applied after Send operation

When you have an apparent successful Send (All) but in the webinterface of your server you see no changes this article will give you two possible causes to look at.
There can be two reasons for this and to find which one applies you have to look at one symptom in Alphapro itself. There are red highlights in Alphapro showing that there are changes made in the node that have not been send yet. If these red highlights remain after a Send (All) you have a rights issue. If the red highlights disappear you have wrong character issue.
Rights issue
Depending on the way you installed Alphapro and how policy settings are on your machine there might be rights issues. The cause of the problem might be that the user creating the database files and the user doing the upload are different and have different rights. The user doing the upload must also have full access to the files in the database folder.
Wrong character issue
When the path of the database contains national characters, for example Ł, both the "Send all" and "Send change" buttons will not return an error but there will be no change in the system.
