ASCOM Norwegian Character Mapping

ASCOM pager transmitters use a different mapping of the Norwegian characters "æøå" than the AlphaCom extended ASCII.

Configuration

  • The ESPA protocol must be configured with 8-Bit data.
  • The nvram flag for ascom mapping must be set to 1
 ex_profile.flags.ascom_char = 1
