IP Master Station -V2 Restore Factory Defaults

This procedure is the recommended procedure for all IP Stations with Display.

• The Station Menu is available in both Edge and SIP mode.
  
• In ICX-Alphacom mode the Station Menu is only available when the IP Station is offline mode. i.e. not registered to the server.

Procedure

• Press the Setup button beneath the display
• Enter the password 1851 and press the Ok button.
• Navigate to Load defaults and press the Sel button.
• Press the Sel button to load factory defaults.

Factory default values

The station will now restart with factory settings:

• Station IP address: Determined by DHCP server. If no DHCP server is available, it gets a random 169.254.x.x address.
• Username: admin
• Password: alphaadmin
• Mode of operation: Edge

Alternative procedure

IP Desktop with handset can also perform the procedure by lifting the handset offhook instead of pressing a DAK.

Reset to Factory Default Settings with Activated DHCP

To reset:

1. While pressing any button, power up the station by connecting it to a PoE switch.

2. Hold the button until the station audio starts counting, and release the button on count 1.

3. Press and hold the button on count 5 and release on count 0.

- if there is no 0 count, the procedure has failed and you have to start again

4. Press M button or any DAK, and the station will speak its IP address

Factory Default with IP address from DHCP server

Reset to Factory Default Settings with Static IP

To reset:

1. While pressing any button, power up the station by connecting to a PoE switch.
