Description

The ATLB-12 card is a high capacity analogue telephone line card supporting 12 subscriber lines. The subscribers have access to all STENTOFON AlphaCom telephone features.

A hot-line function is available for connection of telephones without dial buttons. When the handset is lifted, a preprogrammed number is dialed. This can be a call to another subscriber or activation of a function in the exchange. The board provides 6 configurable remote control outputs for interfacing of external equipment such as strobe lights, PA control signals and more.

The card can be inserted in position 1-6 in the AlphaCom E7 exchange, and position 1-23 in the AlphaCom E20 and E26 exchanges. In AlphaCom E20 and E26 exchanges, the board can be plugged in or out while the exchange is running using the board hot-swap function.

Connection material

Physical ports

The ATLB-12 provides 12 telephone lines. The 6 first telephone lines get the physical number according to the physical slot the ATLB-12 is but into. The 6 last telephone lines have an offset of 276 to 6 first physical numbers.

Example:

  • ATLB-12 installed in slot 1 is using physical numbers 1-6 and 277-282.
  • ATLB-12 installed in slot 2 is using physical numbers 7-12 and 283-288.
  • ATLB-12 installed in slot 3 is using physical numbers 13-18 and 289-294.
  • Etc.

Switches

The 3 DIP switches located on the ATLB-12 card are not relevant for the board’s performance since they are not implemented for use yet. They are placed on the board for future use only.

Additional notes

  • Minimum software requirement: AMC 10.60
  • The ATLB-12 supports line monitoring as from ATLB-12 software 05.51
