If AlphaPro is not able to communictae with the AlphaCom server, there are several possible reasons:

AlphaPro 12 error messages:

  • Wrong username/password for logging in (The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized)
  • Incorrect IP address in AlphaPro (Exchange & System > System) - The IP address doesn't match the IP address of the AlphaCom (Unable to connect to the remote server)
  • AlphaPro v.12 is used towards AlphaCom v. 11. (The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found)
  • The AlphaCom has "Standby Stations" licenses installed (which is the case when the the AlphaCom is used as a standby server i et redundant system med to AlphaComer) (The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error)
  • TCP port 60001 ("AlphaPro") is disabled in Filters setting in Web interface (SendAll/SendChg only) (Unable to connect to x.x.x.x)
  • TCP port 80 (HTTP) is disabled in Filters setting in Web interface (Unable to connect to the remote server)
