Description

The AMC-IP Filter Card provides:

  • 2 Ethernet Connections:
  • 2 x Ethernet Ports (IEEE 802.3)
  • Transfer Rates 10 and 100 Mbps
  • Autosensing 10/100 or fixed transfer rates
  • Auto-MDX eliminating the need of crossover cables
  • Serial communications
  • One Serial Port RS232
  • One Serial Port RS232/422/485
  • One USB 1.1 Slave Port (future use)
  • For more serial ports an Ethernet to Serial converter should be used
  • Several applications that before used serial ports can now use Ethernet ports
  • AlphaNet
  • MultiModule
  • Telephone Interface (SIP Gateway instead of PNCI)

Jumpers

The onboard jumpers selects RS422 or RS485 on Serial Port 1.

Serial Port Connections

AMC switch S601 – 1 on:

  • Serial port 0: AlphaPro
  • Serial port 1: Linux Console (115.200 baud, N, 8, 1)

AMC switch S601 – 1 off:

  • Serial port 0 and 1 controlled by the AMC (EDO, MPC data, Pager, ACDP etc.)
