Sometimes it appears that the GUI does not react when there is a call or call request to the associated intercom in the VS-Operator client. The call or call request may not appear or VS-Operator does not send commands to ICX-AlphaCom when clicking an icon. The following message will be displayed in the Journal if this is a visible element on the screen: Operator station is not defined correctly, please contact the system administrator.
The VS-Operator client operationally associates the intercom directory number at client start up. Therefore, when using the options dialog to make the association there will be a message that the VS-Operator client needs to be restarted. But the association only works if the intercom has already been defined in VS-Operator.
It may happen that you already know which intercom to associate with the client, even before it is defined in VS-Operator and that you already make the settings in the options dialog. But, when then later the intercom is defined in VS-Operator, the client must be stopped and restarted again for the association to take effect.
So in short:
- Make certain that the station which is defined as operator is known to VS-Operator as an intercom device
- Restart the VS-Operator client to apply the association
