This article describes best practice to replace an AlphaCom XE1 with an AlphaCom-ICX500

AlphaCom XE1

  • Check AlphaCom XE1 software version. If the version is below 12.x.x.x the board should be upgraded to latest version. upgrade procedure.
  • Make screenshots of AlphaWeb System Configuration pages:
  1. Interfaces
  2. Filters
  3. Routing


Optional:

  1. Time and Date
  2. Logging
  3. Messaging
Note icon If there are uploaded messages, download and store these.


  • Use latest AlphaPro and perform a Get All to save the database.

AlphaCom-ICX500

  • Upgrade the ICX to the latest version
  • Enter ICXWeb and configure according to screenshots
Note icon Upload audio messages if any


  • Upload license file
  • Use AlphaPro and perform Send All
