This document provides the release notes for VSF-Fortitude6 6.1 with incremental bug fix releases. The release notes for VSF-Fortitude6 6.1 describe new features, improvements and issues fixed after VSF-Fortitude6 6.0.

The firmware is delivered in two different files:

• vsff6-6.1.3.x - Used for standard in-field upgrades
• vsff6-prod-6.1.3.x - Used in production- and recovery upgrades.

New Features

TYR-11 Support for external speaker

Option to connect an external speaker to IP Flush Master V2 and IP CROR Stations. The external speaker can be activated in Audio settings on the web.

MTN-3144 Third button option for hold state.

Added third button option under Direct Access Keys for managing calls that are put on hold. This option is available in SIP and Edge.

Improvements

MTN-3258 Removed support for TLSv1.0

Support for TLSv1.0 is now removed, only TLSv1.1 or newer is supported.

MTN-3164 Option to adjust microphone sensitivity for accessories

Option is now available to adjust microphone sensitivity for accessories of IP Flush Master-V2 and IP-CROR

MTN-3093 Improved Tone test to combat noisy environment and to be able to use in places with multiple stations in the close vicinity

Tone volume is automatically adjusted to suit the ambient noise levels and therefore make it suitable to use it in noisy environment. Further improvement is made for environments like a train where multiple stations are next to each other. This might have caused the intercom with faulty speaker picks up tone from another station doing the test at the same time and wrongly reports success. This is now solved by playing multiple frequency tones.

Issues fixed

MTN-3260 Syslog settings sometimes required reboot to take effect.

Sometimes syslog settings required reboot to take effect. This is now fixed and reboot is no longer required.

MTN-3244 Station fails to register to CUCM when using default registration intervals.

Station could not register to Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) when default registration intervals were used. This is now fixed.

MTN-3234 IP Flush Master DAK 1 led issue resolved.

IP Flush Master had invalid led handling on DAK 1 outside of call.

MTN-3136 Backlight is off when IP Desk Master V2 is set to CRM

The backlight should automatically turn on, when it is set to CRM. This is now working.
