VSF-FORTITUDE6 6.2.3.0

New Features

DRES-70 ONVIF profile S support

The devices now have ONVIF profile S support and capabilities similar to video devices. Device is not listed as ONVIF conformant as that is only possible for real video devices. Device is streaming video that show JPEG Zenitel logo of Zenitel using 1 FPS to provide compatibility with various VMS systems. Maximum RTSP stream count for non video devices is now 1 microphone audio, 1 JPEG video and 1 backchannel audio. RTSP PLAY will respond with 453 "Not Enough Bandwidth" if that limit is breached. Port 80 is used for ONVIF.

Report DAK as Digital Input is currently not supported for this platform.

DRES-43 ONVIF audio backchannel

All devices which support ONVIF, with the exception of TCIV, now support the ONVIF audio backchannel. This enables the ONVIF VMS client to send audio to the Zenitel IP device.

DRES-5 Call statuses reported as DeviceIO in ONVIF

Devices now support reporting the following states as input signals through DeviceIO in ONVIF:

  • In Conversation
  • Ringing (outgoing and incoming)
  • In call queue (ICX-AlphaCom mode only)

This behavior is disabled by default and needs to be enabled through device web first.

Improvements

DRES-147 Changed RTSP server implementation for non-video devices

RTSP server used now is GStreamer RTSP server which should also solve various incompatibilities with RTSP clients.

DRES-68 Exigo mode removed from device web

The Exigo mode option is removed from the main setting on device web. If the device is upgraded in Exigo mode, it will still stay in Exigo mode. But it cannot change back to Exigo mode after another mode has been selected and applied on the device web.

Issues fixed

MTN-3480 Backlight and LEDs could not be dimmed on DAK48 panels

Backlight and LEDs on DAK48 panels are now adjustable together with the IP Flush Master V2 display backlight.

MTN-3475 X-Zenitel-License-Request header is now removed when device is in SIP mode

This header was not necessary in SIP mode and it could cause incompatibilities with some 3rd party SIP systems.

MTN-3455 It is now possible to configure 1 relay on IP Desk master.

This relay is not exposed by default on device. Please contact alphasupport for information on how to access the relay on the hardware, it requires hw modifications. Also fixed an issue where 3 relays were displayed on web call for IP Desk master and now this is also shown as 1.

MTN-3423 Tone volume -1 disables tone

On web interface for Tone volume, value -1 would not mute tones as intended, it would play it at -1 dBFS instead. This is now fixed, and value -1 mutes tones.

MTN-3416 Maximal volume level for external speaker is now 6

When playing tone at 1 dBFS, with external speaker volume set to 7, the device would freeze. Maximal volume level for external speaker is now set to 6.

MTN-3412 CRM-V-2 main board missing external Call Led

External Call LED, on pluggable screwconnector P4, is now operating in parallel with internal Call Led.

MTN-3344 Not possible to show text in display

In SIP and Edge mode it was not possible to substitute the date and time shown in the first line of the display station with a fixed text. This is now fixed with a new option in the device web interface.

Known Issues

MTN-3477 Upgrading device firmware using the Intercom Management Tool (IMT) may cause false failure report

Sometimes when upgrading devices using the IMT tool, a device might be stuck at 99% during the upgrade process, where after a while it reports that the upgrade failed. The upgrade was successful, and the station can be accessed from the station web.
