This document provides the release notes for VSF-Fortitude8 6.0 with incremental bug fix releases. The release notes for VSF-Fortitude8 6.1 describe new features, improvements and issues fixed after VSF-Fortitude8 6.0.

Name: VSF-Fortitude8
Description: VSF-Fortitude8 is a firmware for Turbine Video Plus Intercom including the following devices: TCIV-2+, TCIV-3+, TCIV-5+, TCIV-6+ and TKIV+

The firmware is delivered in two different files:

  • vsff8-6.1.3.x - Used for standard in-field upgrades
  • vsff8-prod-6.1.3.x - Used in production- and recovery upgrades.

MTN-3144 Third button option for hold state.

Added third button option under Direct Access Keys for managing calls that are put on hold. This option is available in SIP and Edge.

MTN-3141 Added option to rotate video stream

It's now possible to rotate video stream in 90 degree steps.

Known Issues

MTN-3065 Sound Detection is reporting DAK-key ON twice

When Sound Detection (supported in ICX-AlphaCom mode) is enabled and sound is detected, the station emulates the push of a DAK key. In this version it reports that the DAK key is pressed twice, and released once.
