Volume and handset override is a feature that forces the station volume to maximum level, and in case the handset is off-hook, it will reconnect the loudspeaker by forcing the station to go on-hook. The feature is applicable for all types of IP stations.

  • In Pulse mode, the Volume and handset override is activated by the Group Call feature with Emergency priority (All Call 84 by default).
  • In SIP mode, the Volume and handset override can be activated when receiving Multicast Paging by setting the Priority = Emergency.
