The cabling from the AlphaCom server to the intercom station is star wiring. Two twisted pairs of wires are required. The maximum distance depends on the cable diameter:

This master station is designed for both flush and surface

purpose. In addition to the AlphaCom and AlphaCom M
 
systems the station can be used with the former TouchLine
 
displaysystems. Typical applications areas are stores &
 
warehouses, factory shop floors and laboratories.

access to all extensions and features. The station includes
 
programmable single touch keys and a 2 x 16 character
 
alphanumeric display providing caller identification, on-line
 
help and a directory service amongst other features.

The Wall Master Station is an analog intercom station. It is connected to an ASLT line card in an AlphaCom XE7, AlphaCom XE20 or AlphaCom XE26 server using 2 pairs of wires.
