Device Network Settings (Zenitel Connect Pro)

The network settings for a device can be changed from the Zenitel Connect Pro web interface. Navigate to Devices and Connections -> Configuration. Select the Network icon .

The default network settings for a device is DHCP:

Fill in the appropriate fields.

Note icon Instead of configuring a static IP address on the device, consider using your DHCP server’s option to assign an IP address based on the device’s MAC address. This allows the DHCP server to reserve the address and consistently provide the same IP to the device.



Hostname

The default hostname of Zenitel device is a concatenation 2 strings

  • zenitel
  • the last 6 characters of the device MAC-address

The hostname can be changed in the field Hostname. Each device in a network must have a unique hostname.
