- Turn off power to the exchange.<br/>
- Remove the faulty AMC-IP board.<br/>
- Remove the '''[[STIC]]''' (STENTOFON Identity Card).<br/>
- Insert the STIC in the new AMC-IP board.<br/>
- Insert the new AMC-IP board.<br/>
- Switch on power.<br/>
- Connect a computer to the exchange Eth0 and open a web browser.<br/>
- Log on to the exchange by typing in the IP address (default 169.254.1.5) of the exchange in the address field.<br/>
- Log in with the default credentials '''admin/alphaadmin'''<br/>


Turn off power to the exchange using the main power switch located on the back of the exchange (top left corner).
IF you have a backup follow this procedure:<br/>
Remove the faulty AMC-IP board from card position 25.

Remove the STIC �(STENTOFON Identity Card).
 
Insert the STIC in the new AMC-IP board.
If you do not have a backup:<br/>
Insert the new AMC-IP board in card �position 25.
- Configure IP settings and filters<br/>
Switch on power using the main switch �on the back.
- Use AlphaPro to upload the customer database<br/>
Connect a computer to the exchange and open a web browser.
- Reset the server for all settings to take effect<br/>
Log on to the exchange by typing in the IP address of the exchange in the address field.
 
Log in with the default credentials admin/alphaadmin
 
Navigate to System Management  System Upgrade

Use the “Browse” option under Upload File to select the backup file for the relevant exchange.
Click Upload.
Two files will now be available:
System-config-backup-01.01.apkg
Exchange-db-backup-01.01.1pkg
Select the first file by clicking it.
Click the ”Install” button that becomes available.
After installation repeat for the second file.
Go to System Maintenance  Backup, select “Restore DB”
The system now restores the AlphaPro Database.
Go to System Configuration  Interfaces and press Save followed by Apply confirm with Yes.
Go to System Maintenance  System Recovery  Reboot and reboot the system
All configuration and settings are now restored

Restore full Backup from PC

If you do not have a backup:
- Configure IP settings and filters
- Use AlphaPro to upload the customer database
- Reset the server for all settings to take effect
