When the handset is lifted on a station the system can be programmed to dial a certain number. When the handset is replaced, another number can be dialled. The feature is available on all stations with handset and is programmable per station. The feature can also be used on telephones connected to the ATLB board.

Application examples:

  • Lifting the handset activates an alarm call from a lift. Whether the handset is replaced or not does not matter, the confirmation message and the return call will come through anyway.
