This article describes how to connect an external amplifier to the line output of the IP substation.
Power Amplifier 1000614100
Amplifier constanly on
The power amplifier is controlled through input 1 and 2. By strapping one can make the amplifier constanly on:
- Strap point 2 and 3
- Strap point 1 and 7
Note: When the amplifier is constanly on some humming might be heard in the speaker in idle.
Amplifier controlled by relay
The amplifier can be switched on and off by the relay on the IP substation. The relay is controlled by the RCO in the Event Handler.
Configure the relay operation:
- In Exchange & System -> RCO, map a free RCO to the relay of the station.
- In Users & Stations select the IP station in the list box, and press the button 'Events'. 'Insert' a new events with the following attributes:

Event type: | 1 - Audio |
Subevent: | 126 (Press 'Details' to see which audio events) |
When change to: | ON or OFF |
