Description
The original AlphaCom is only capable of doing transfer after an successful inquiry to another station during connection. This means if no answer during inquiry it is not possible to transfer the call to a private ringing station or a ringing group.
Direct transfer is based on the Inquiry during connection feature (55). Configuring Inquiry with parameter 1 = 1 will activate transfere directly to the feature directory number dialed during Inquiry. This extend the transfer feature to also give the possibility to do transfer to:
- Stations in private.
- Ringing groups
- Group call
- ++
Known limitations
- A (AlphaCom) calls B (SIP) and A try to transfer B to a ringing group. This is currently not supported. ( A (SIP) calls B (AlphaCom) and B transfer to Ringing group is working)
Software Operation
A calls B, and B activate direct transfer to C
- B activate Direct transfer during connection. A and B -"CONN" agent is parked. A gets "on hold" tone, B is in collect digit state.
- B collect digits until an available feature during connection match is found in the directory table.
- B sends the directory number collected to its own "CONN" agent, B-agent send the directory number to A-"CONN" agent, that will forward the number to A-"SBS".
- A- "SBS" will disconnect the current call and activate the received directory number. (B-will disconnect)
A calls B, and A activate direct transfer to C and B is a SIP connection.
- A activate Direct transfere during connection. A-"REM_CONN" agent is parked.
- A collect digits until an available feature during connection match is found in the directory table.
- A sends the directory number collected to its own "REM_CONN" agent, B-agent send the directory number to B-"SBS",
- B- "SBS" will terminate current call and activate the feature.
