The ethernet port is a 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 port for connection to the network. Supports Power Over Ethernet - PoE (802.3af). Draws power from either the spare pairs or from the signal line.


The following IP Desktop station models have a built-in network switch, providing two ethernet ports:

  • LAN: 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 port for connection to the network. Supports Power Over Ethernet - PoE (802.3af). Draws power from either the spare pairs or from the signal line.
  • AUX: 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 ports for auxiliary equipment such as PC and IP camera. PoE is not forwarded to this port.
Note icon The RJ-45 connectors on the cables must be of a low profile type! If not they may not lock in place properly.
