Volume and handset override is a feature that forces the device to use a second volume setting, typically to increase the volume when doing emergency announcements. The announcement will play in the loudspeaker even if the handset is off-hook.

The Override Volume is configured per device in the Devices and Connections > Configuration > Audio pane.

The override feature is active during a Broadcast call with priority in the range 1-20.
