This article describes best practice to replace an AlphaCom XE1 with an ICX-510.
AlphaCom XE1
- Check AlphaCom XE1 software version. If the version is below 12.x.x.x the board should be upgraded to latest version. upgrade procedure.
- Make screenshots of AlphaWeb System Configuration pages:
- Interfaces
- Filters
- Routing
Optional:
- Time and Date
- Logging
- Messaging

If there are uploaded messages, download and store these. |
- Use latest AlphaPro and perform a Get All to save the database.
AlphaCom-ICX500
- Upgrade the ICX to the latest version
- Enter ICXWeb and configure according to screenshots

Upload audio messages if any |
- Upload license file
- Use AlphaPro and perform Send All
