This article describes how to connect an external amplifier to the line output of the IP substation.

Power Amplifier 1000614100

Amplified calling - amplifier constantly on

Amplifier constanly on

The power amplifier is controlled through input 1 and 2. By strapping one can make the amplifier constanly on:

  • Strap point 2 and 3
  • Strap point 1 and 7

No programming is required.

Note: When the amplifier is constanly on some humming might be heard in the speaker in idle.

Amplified calling - amplifier controlled by M-key

Amplifier controlled by relay

The amplifier can be switched on and off by the relay on the IP substation. The relay is controlled by the RCO command in the Event Handler.

Configure the relay operation:

Event to control the IP substation relay
Event Owner: The IP station
Event type: 1 - Audio
Subevent: 126 (Press 'Details' to see which audio events)
When change to: ON or OFF
When related to: (not used)
Action: RCO 10

RCO 10 is used as an example. Use the RCO number youy have assigned to the IP substation relay.
