This article describes best practice to replace an AlphaCom XE1 with an ICX-510 running AlphaCom software.
AlphaCom XE1
- Check AlphaCom XE1 software version. If the version is below 12.x.x.x the board should be upgraded to latest version. upgrade procedure.
- Make screenshots of AlphaWeb System Configuration pages:
- Interfaces
- Filters
- Routing
Optional:
- Time and Date
- Logging
- Messaging

If there are audio messages uploaded to the server, download and store these. |
- Use latest AlphaPro version and perform a Get All to backup the configuration.
ICX-AlphaCom
- Upgrade the ICX-AlphaCom to the latest software version
- Log in to the ICX-510 web-interface and configure according to the screenshots made of the AlphaCom XE1
- Upload audio messages if any
- Upload license file
- Use AlphaPro and perform Send All
