Temperature alarm
The AlphaCom monitors the temperature of the boards. If the temperature becomes too high, an internal RCI #8 is triggered, and the log event "Temperature Alarm" is generated:

In addition a mail is sent to station 1. The mail can be viewed by entering 70 and looks like this:
TemperatureAlarm 0=Clear 8=Call
Known problems AMC hardware 8000/2
"Temperature Alarm" in AlphaCom E7: This problem is probably related to the fact that the AMC-IP board never had a connection to the over-temp. signal from the ACE7 backplane. This is related to the problems with RCIs from the same backplane.
