Recall

Recall is a function to record a message from a station, and then dispatch the recorded message as a Group Call. The function is used to prevent feedback problems. The recorded message is a temporary message, which is discarded when the Group Call is finished.
Default directory numbers for "recall" broadcast:
- 9084: Recall to group 1 (all)
- 9085-9088: Recall to groups 2 - 5
To initiate a group call, dial the directory number of the desired group. Press the M-key to start recording. Release M-key to listen to the message. Press 8 to dispatch the message, or C to cancel.
ReCall user interface
ReCall is a function to record a voice message from the station, and then dispatch the recorded message as a Group Call. The recorded message is a temporary message, which is discarded when the Group Call is finished.
- Dial access number to group (or 765 + <destination> + M-key)
- message recording. Choice of (possibly several times):
- Pres M (* on phone) to record message.
- If M is pressed again, recording is restarted
- Release M (# on phone ) Recording stops, message is played back to user
- C / on-hook to confirm and dispatch message. Return to Idle. Messages shorter than 0.5 seconds are discarded.
- 8 to confirm and dispatch message, stay active to hear the message being broadcasted
- 0 delete recording, cancel
- 7 to hear the message once again
- Pres M (* on phone) to record message.
Simplest sequence is then:
- Dial access number to group
- M-pres
- record message
- M-release
- C-pres / on-hook to dispatch.
Hardware and software requiements
Hardware: The recall function can be used on all AMC-IP hardware versions (red or black PCB).
Software: Recall is available from AMC software version 11
License: Recall requires an Audio Messaging license.
