The Recall function enables live PA and group call broadcast with recall for handling feedback and verifying messages.

Default directory numbers for "recall" broadcast:

  • 9084: Recall to group 1 (all)
  • 9085-9088: Recall to groups 2 - 5

To initiate a group call, dial the directory number of the desired group. Press the M-key to start recording. Release M-key to listen to the message. Press 8 to dispatch the message, or C to cancel.

ReCall user interface

ReCall is a function to record a voice message from the station, and then dispatch the recorded message as a Group Call. The recorded message is a temporary message, which is discarded when the Group Call is finished.

  1. Dial access number to group (or 765 + <destination> + M-key)
  2. message recording. Choice of (possibly several times):
    • Pres M (* on phone) to record message.
      • If M is pressed again, recording is restarted
    • Release M (# on phone ) Recording stops, message is played back to user
    • C / on-hook to confirm and dispatch message. Return to Idle. Messages shorter than 0.5 seconds are discarded.
    • 8 to confirm and dispatch message, stay active to hear the message being broadcasted
    • 0 delete recording, cancel
    • 7 to hear the message once again

Simplest sequence is then:

  1. Dial access number to group
  2. M-pres
  3. record message
  4. M-release
  5. C-pres / on-hook to dispatch.
