Volume and handset override
From Zenitel Wiki
Volume and handset override is a feature that forces the station volume to maximum level, and in case the handset is off-hook, it will reconnect the loudspeaker by forcing the station to go on-hook. The feature is applicable for analog display stations and all types of IP stations. Analog stations without display do not support handset and volume override.
Volume and handset override is activated by the following features:
- Group calls with Alarm priority
- Audio Program, remotly setup to group, activated by:
- Using feature code 75
- Event handler command PRG, or
- ACDP command $PROG.
- In AlphaPro the audio program must have the flag Volume/Handset Override enabled.
- Prerecorded voice alarm messages (ASVP), remotly setup by:
- The feature code 761
- The event handler commands AMS and AMG, or
- The ACDP data command $ALRM
