Introduction

Genetec has developed a Plug-in called Sipelia which provides an interface from its Security Center Software to ICX or AlphaCom and intercom stations in SIP-mode.

Sipelia

Sipelia is a small IPBX. Security Center operator positions have a SIP-client which register with Sipelia.

ICX System

The interconnection between ICX and Sipelia is SIP-trunk. The only further programming which needs to be done in AlphaPro is to define feature 81 or 83 directory numbers. Association of cameras to intercom stations is in Security Center and does not need any programming in AlphaPro.

AlphaCom

The interconnection between AlphaCom and Sipelia is SIP-trunk. The only further programming which needs to be done in AlphaPro is to define feature 81 or 83 directory numbers. Association of cameras to intercom stations is in Security Center and does not need any programming in AlphaPro.

SIP-Stations

Vingtor-Stentofon intercom stations can also be put in SIP-mode and directly register to Sipelia. Video from TCIV stations can be shown during the call when the mode is set to H.264. No further setup is required for this.

H.264

Video from TCIV stations registered directly with Sipelia can be shown during the call when the mode is set to H.264. No further setup in Sipelia is required for this.

MJPG

MJPEG is supported as from Security Center 5.4. Select Vingtor-Stentofon cameras, then TCIV.

Troubleshooting

Audio issues

If you experience missing audio from/to a station, set codec G.722 to have lower priority than codecs G.711a and G.711u in the station. To do this, go to SIP Configuration > Account/Call in the Call Settings section
