Licenses

To use AlphaCom features such as AlphaNet VoIP and SIP, the system requires a software license key. This license key is valid for one MAC address. The following feature require license:

• VoIP AlphaNet/MultiModule
• SIP Trunk
• SIP phones
• IP stations
• RingMaster (RM) interconnection

• Obtain the license key from your AlphaCom distributor.
• Log on to AlphaWeb
• Select System Configuration > License Key
• Enter the 24 character key string under New License Key
• Press the Insert new license key button to install this license

The license configuration is shown on top of the page.

Ordering procedure

The short procedure for ordering licences is:

1. Send a p.o. for the relevant licence via the normal purchase channel.
2. Logistics in Oslo will issue an invoice and send you the Licence Documents and Licence Activation Code (LAC) by e-mail.
3. To obtain a Licence Key, you must communicate the LAC together with the MAC-address related to the AMC-IP card for which the licence is intended to. Send this to licensing@zenitel.com
4. Based on above you will shortly after receive the Licence Key.

1. Zenitel generates a ‘License Activation Code’ (LAC) which can be regarded as the actual article
2. In order for Zenitel to be able to generate a License Key, the License Activation Code must be registered at Zenitel

together with the MAC-address of the AMC-IP card for which the license is intended

1. Registration can be done by reporting the MAC-address and LAC in an e-mail to licensing@zenitel.com. More than one LAC can be listed on the registration form.
2. All listed License Activation Codes together with the MACaddress will be used to generate a single License Key

which will enable all licensed functions.

1. The License Key will be shipped to the customer’s e-mail address.
2. As the License key is rather complex, it should be inserted in the set-up program using the copy/paste function.
