Certificates for HTTPS
It is normal for most web browsers to inhibit access to web servers using the HTTPS protocol if the site is not trusted. Usually it is still possible to access the site but with warnings. Zenitel Connect Pro offers the option to upload certificates, which makes Zenitel Connect Pro a trusted web server within the customers own organization.
Certificates can be viewed or new certificates can be uploaded by clicking the tile Certificates in the System section:
To upload and install a certificate:
- Navigate to the Certificates tile
- Drag and drop a certificate file into the indicated area, or click Click to select a file to navigate to the location where the certificate is stored
Once the certificate is uploaded, Zenitel Connect Pro is recognized as a trusted site and can be browsed via port 443, using HTTPS.
