Inner Range Inception (Zenitel Connect)

Zenitel Connect integrates with Inner Range's Inception controller via a Node-RED flow.
The Node-RED flow handles the configuration, authentication between Zenitel Connect and Inception, and message translation.
Inner Range Inception
The Inception Controller is a powerful security system that brings together Intruder Detection, Access Control and Automation into one easy to use web based hardware solution.
With Inception, there is no need to install software on a computer, no need to leave a computer on site and no issues with software/firmware compatibility. Instead, the installation process is as simple as powering up the controller, connecting the network cable (or use the optional WiFi adapter) and using any web browser to navigate to Inception's web page.

Capabilities
- Integrate Zenitel Connect to Inner Range Inception for
- Door Release commands from Zenitel Connect to trigger Door Open commands in the Inception Controller.
- Inception Intrusion detection events trigger Automated Voice Announcements to Broadcast Groups in Zenitel Connect.

Pre-Requesites
- Zenitel Connect with API License installed
- Node-RED installed either onboard Zenitel Connect or externally
- ZenitelLink username and password
- Inner Range Inception Controller IP
- Inner Range Inception WEB API username and password
Installation
- Obtain the Node-RED flow from https://github.com/Zenitel-AS/Inner-Range-Inception
- Import the flow into Node-RED using the Hamburger menu & Import
Configuration
Configuration is performed in the Setup node and the two Zenitel nodes.
- Edit the Setup node and complete
- Inception IP Address
- Inception WEB API Username & Password
- Links between Door Name in Inception and the Zenitel Connect Directory Number for Door Opening
- Links between Area Number in Inception and the Zenitel Connect Audio Message number and Broadcast Group for automated announcements from Alarms
- Edit the Zenitel Door Opening and Audio Message nodes and complete
- Zenitel Connect IP Address
- Zenitel Connect Link username and password
Deploy the flow and test operation.
