SDS-1 - Software Upgrade

This article describes how to upgrade the software of the SDS-1 by using TFTP server.

Procedure

  • Download the software file SDS-1_1.0.x.xx.zip to your PC and unzip it.
  • Open the TFTP server and select the folder you unzipped as the base directory. Verify the server interface is on the same subnet as the SDS-1.
  • Log on to the SDS-1 Station web interface. Select Maintenance > Upgrade and Provisioning.
  • Verify that Always Check for New Firmware is selected.

  • In the Firmware section, select TFTP, and enter the IP address of the TFTP server in the Firmware Server Path.

  • Click Save and Apply and reboot the device.


  • After reboot the device will prompt with the message "New firmware is detected. Do you want to upgrade now?".

  • Click Yes and follow the instructions in the display. You should also see progress on the TFTP server

  • When finished the device will reboot again.
  • After the second reboot log on the web interface. Select Status > System info and verify the Software version > Prog.
