A/B Description
An A/B system is a dual VIPEDIA-12 redundant system, where two units operate in parallel to provide high availability and fault tolerance. Audio inputs/outputs, microphones, fire interfaces, DVA messages, and GPIO functions are duplicated across both units, ensuring continued operation if one unit fails. The architecture enhances system resilience and supports up to 64 DVA messages with hardware bypass capability via the VIPEDIA-12-NET network.
Key Features
- Dual VIPEDIA for additional resilience
- Duplicated audio inputs and outputs
- Dual interface microphone option
- Duplicated fire interfaces & DVA messages
- Up to 64 DVA messages
- GPIO, replicated on both units
- Hardware bypass across VIPEDIA-12-NET
