Introduction

Zenitel Connect Pro (ZCP) servers can be interconnected using the feature Zenitel Connect Net (ZCN). Up to 20 ZCPs are supported in Zenitel Connect Net.

There are two ways to call a user in another ZCP:

  • Prefix: Dial the Prefix + the external extension number
  • Integrated number plan: Simply dial the extension number without any prefix

Calls between ZCPs supports video.

Note icon Zenitel Connect Net (ZCN) is a licensed feature. A ZCL-PBX license is required per trunk

Adding Zenitel Connect Net and defining the Prefix

Go to Devices and Connections > Zenitel Connect Net and click the ZC PlusIcon.PNG to add a new connection.

  • Prefix: The digit(s) to dial to access the ZCN.
  • Name: Any descriptive text
  • Peer Address: The IP address of the remote ZCP. If the peer uses a port other than 5060 or 5061 it can be added to the address.
  • SIP Transport: protocol to use (UDP, TCP or TLS)
  • SIP Authentication: Username and Password to authenticate incoming calls.
